Our Company

From the beginnings as the birthplace of International Business Machines in 1924, to the sale and creation of the locally owned and operated Huron Real Estate Associates in 2002, the people of Huron Logistics have  provided creative and custom logistics solutions since our inception, and for many years prior within IBM.

Based in Broome County, in the Southern Tier Region of Upstate New York, our Endicott operation provides customers throughout the Northeast with warehousing, receiving & shipping, fulfillment, distribution, manufacturing support, packaging and industrial engineering, and other logistics services.
We have a variety of advanced material handling equipment to safely and efficiently handle a wide range of materials - including small parts or components, to full pallets, complete assemblies larger than a pallet, and oversize items.

Our Team

 Experienced and highly trained logistics professionals in management, staff, IT, and operations. Many are previous long term IBM employees with decades of experience in supply chain management - including warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment,.  All dedicated to developing creative, customized logistics solutions for exceptional customer service.

Our Facility

Our Greater Binghamton Distribution Center is one of the most advanced logistics facilities in upstate New York and the Northeast. Supported by 24 docks, our 140,000 square feet of open floor space and 50,000 square feet of high bay floor and racked storage provides our customers with many warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment options. And our logistics facilities and also support ocean container unloading and cross docking as well.

 Strategically located in Endicott, New York and the Broome County area of Upstate New York, our distribution center was the first Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) facility in the United States. We have continued advancement in the visual scanning, radio frequency tracking and laser guided systems our state of the art facility offers - with storage for over 42,000 pallets of larger productS, and 11,000 bins for smaller items.

Our extensive use of technology throughout the facility allows us to process customer orders on a timely basis, and receive, track, store, fulfill orders, and ship with superior accuracy. Our customers enjoy the efficiency and flexible billing of variable space, or protected/secured dedicated cribs if necessary. Inventory accuracy is just one of our strengths, and we take pride in maintaining an over 99.9% accuracy rate.

Our systems can interface with your systems, or we can provide a customized warehousing, distribution, or order fulfillment solution for you. Systems access is supported by our password-protected website with real-time information regarding the status of your orders, inventories, shipments and carrier tracking info.

Protected from fire and smoke damage with a fully automated sprinkler system, and secured by customized badge access and video surveillance, we keep our customers inventories safe and secure. Our security systems also allow for photography of all shipped products for shipping verification and loss prevention mitigation. In addition, our on-site staff provides 24/7 monitoring of all systems.

Our Campus

Huron Logistics operates out of the Huron Campus, formerly IBM Endicott, conveniently located in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York - just minutes from Interstate 81, NYS 17/ Interstate 86, and Interstate 88.  While the Huron Logistics Material Distribution Center comprises several hundred thousand square feet, our Greater Binghamton campus provides us with not only flexible solutions for our customers looking for logistics services such as storage, distribution, and fulfillment, but those looking for light assembly, office space or on-site manufacturing as well.

In addition to being conveniently located in the Binghamton, New York area of the Northeast, our campus also offers an on-site power plant, chilled water, steam, redundant electrical source feeds, and high capacity electrical systems to support a large manufacturing environment.
